This full-size Colt 1902 Military pistol is chambered in .38 ACP and has a 6-inch barrel. It was made in 1916 and carries serial number 38658. The seller describes the bore as excellent, the finish as about 96 percent original blue with light wear, and the grips as excellent. The pistol is graded as a very fine example of the Military model.

This pistol fits a collector of early military Colts who wants a full-size original with most of its blue still in place. For shooters, the .38 ACP chambering and six-inch barrel describe a range-oriented configuration, and state rules on age, permits and waiting periods apply before you take one home. Both the bore and the grips are rated excellent, which suits a display case or range use.
