This Colt handgun in .45 LC has a 6-inch barrel and serial number 47302. The seller dates it to 1900 and describes it as a US military used gun with RAC inspector marks and a U.S. stamp on the right side of the frame. The metal retains about 25 percent of its original blue, and the grips are very good.

This handgun suits a collector of US military issue Colts who values the inspector marks and the frame stamp more than the finish. The configuration, a .45 LC with a 6-inch barrel, also suits shooters who want an older service-type pistol for range use. The inspector marks and the US stamp are the identifying features the seller lists. Check your state's handgun rules, including age and permit requirements, before you order.
